Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Appleton Partners, Deutsche Bank

Appleton Partners, the privately-owned investment house based in Boston, managing $12.5 billion, has appointed Jesse Martin to a senior business development role, working with financial advisors and other intermediaries.

Martin will develop and support advisor relationships at prominent wirehouse and independent broker-dealers through which Appleton’s separately-managed account strategies are offered, the firm said in a statement earlier this week. 

Prior to this, Martin worked at Hartford Funds Distributors where he served as regional vice president, advisor consultant. 

Deutsche Bank
A former Bank of America Private Bank and JP Morgan Asset Management senior figure has been hired by Deutsche Bank in the US as the new head of discretionary portfolio management within its international private banking arm. 

Neal Elkin is based in New York. 

At Bank of America Private Bank, Elkin was a senior investment strategist and managing director from January 2017 to November 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he served in senior roles at JP Morgan Asset Management for five years and nine months. He also worked at Real Estate Analytics – of which he was a co-founder and president.
